We are thrilled to announce the Join or Die! Houlton Area Organization Fair — coming to Temple Theatre on Friday, May 16th starting at 9:00 AM.

Inspired by the acclaimed documentary Join or Die, this event brings together local clubs, civic groups, churches, and community organizations under one roof — with one goal: connect more people to the organizations that make our community great.

🎬 Start the Morning with the Film

We’ll kick off at 9:00 AM with a screening of Join or Die — the documentary that inspired this entire event. The film makes a powerful case for why civic participation and belonging to organizations matters more than ever for our health, happiness, and community. A short discussion will follow.

🏕️ Then — The Fair!

Following the screening, we’ll move outside for the Organization Fair. Local clubs, churches, nonprofits, sports leagues, youth groups, and civic organizations will have tables set up to meet the public, share what they do, and welcome new members.

Whether you’re looking for a place to belong, want to get more involved in the community, or just want to see what Houlton has to offer — this is the event for you.
